Unvossil: FC Schalke 04 beckons double money

Since March 5, Vivawest is the new main sponsor of FC Schalke 04. However, there was so far unclear how long the contract between the housing company and second division is valid. According to a new report, the royal blue can end the partnership prematurely. There is allegedly even a double money rain.

For about 15 years, FC Schalke 04 worked together with the Russian state company Gazprom. But in a row of the Russian crime war in Ukraine, the scares separated from the natural gas company. With the real estate company Vivawest, the Schalke quickly presented a new main sponsor.

Since then, both sides have made a secret about the contract details. Vivawest only revealed about Twitter that the partnership with the traditional club is only "temporary". As "Ruhr24" reports, the signed contract is valid until June 30, 2023.

However, the FC Schalke can end the contract with the main sponsor prematurely, it says. Accordingly, the royal blue may be allegedly looking for a new company as a main sponsor and from the contract with Vivawest prematurely from the contract.

Vivawest wants to further support FC Schalke 04

According to the portal, the cooperation with the residential provider would not be terminated automatically. So Vivawest wants to continue to support the FC Schalke. A sponsoring should be possible within the framework of a premium partnership. So the club would wave in this case a double money rain.

But initially, the scarce would have to receive a lucrative offer of a paying sponsor. According to media reports, FC Schalke 04 is currently around 4.5 million euros from Vivawest. Gazprom has allegedly paid around nine million euros after the descent into the 2nd Bundesliga.

After all, the blue-whites could close part of the resulting finance gap by a deal with REWE. The supermarket chain can be seen as a sponsor on the training and warm-up shirts. How much the Schalke collects through the business is not known.
