The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: First Trailer Unveiled Title The Amazon

This fall is finally back to Middle earth: On September 2, 2022, so almost five years after the first announcement, Amazon's elaborate Mr. herrings series should start. Now the official name was announced: The show will run in this country under the title The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. (The original title is The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power ).

Suitable for this announcement Amazon has also released a first video teaser, which does not show any scenes from the series yet, but at least offers an atmospheric taste. Perfect: The series will focus on the name-based rings of power and tell how they were created. Already in Peter Jackson's brilliant filming, the history of the rings was briefly torn, now we should experience them in detail: Amazon's series is located in the second age and thus will play the companions several thousand years before the first volume. At that time, the dark ruler succeeds Sauron to seduce the Elves to make them forge the rings of power. Of these rings, three are initially owned by the Elves, seven are given to the dwarfs and more nine are distributed to human kings. At the same time, Sauron himself creates the one ring that owns the power to master all other rings. It follows a bloody campaign against the peoples of Centralizers, until Sauron can finally be conquered if only temporarily, since his mind returns a little later to the middle earth.

Amazon had already secured the rights to a series implementation based on Tolkien's work in 2017. Several seasons are already planned, the budget is allegedly about a billion US dollars, which is the Lord of the Rings: the rings of power to make the most expensive series production of all time.
