Leyenda of the five rings and Calaboons and dragons have a complicated story with each other. Eyenda of the Five Rings began as a collection card game produced by Alderac Entertainment Group. The company Five Rings Publishing Group was created to acquire the intellectual property rights of the five rings and then bought by Wizards of the Coast, which used the scenario of that game as part of its relaunch Enventures oriental supplement. Finally, the Wizard of the Coast, Hasbro, sold the leyend of the Five Rings IP dates back to AEG in 2000, who then sold the property rights to the studio of Asmodee Fantasy Flight Games in 2015. Brooke also noted that Adventures in Rokugan will continue in its previously planned route and that the new book will not replace the current the legend of the Five Rings RPG but it would be intended to serve as a different route for Rokugan. There has not been a date of publication or a deadline for the publication of this new book.
