Gang changes for Driver: Ubisoft wants live action

Circuit Zandvoort (Dutch pronunciation: [sɪrˈkʋi ˈzɑntˌfoːrt], understood for sponsorship factors as CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, and previously referred to as Circuit Park Zandvoort up until 2017, is a motorsport race track situated in the dunes north of Zandvoort, Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line. It returned to the Solution One schedule in 2021 as the location of the revitalized Dutch Grand Prix.

For a long time, the streets have been empty and unfair in the Driver Universion. The game series celebrated her debut in 1999, followed by many offshoots for PC, consoles and mobile devices. Since a spin-off for smartphones 7 years ago, radio styles prevail and the Driver series suspects velvet with chic carts in a garage.

Ubisoft now wants to put an end to this rest, if not as fans of the series may have expected that. Because Driver does not return from the years of pit stop as a video game, but gets a live action series donated.

A revival of unimagined nature

For this, the video game company wants to work together with the streaming service binthe, a soon appearing platform, which should focus mainly on series for gaming fans. On the website of binse is a thick 2022 , the service should therefore be started next year.

Once the Driver series appears, it will be visible exclusively to binthe. Responsible as performing producers are Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik and Genevieve Jones of Ubisoft Film & Television as well as Allan Hungarian and Vincent Talenti of binge.

Danielle Kreinik is already looking forward to sending the driver franchise back to the street: Our mission here at Ubisoft is to bring games to life in new and exciting ways to create content in the world, Culture and community of the gaming are located. The cooperation with binge allows us to deliver a driver series directly to the people who are looking forward to seeing franchise again.

Even with binge you seem enthusiastically about this chance. Allan Hungar said in the context of the announcement: As a longtime fans of the Franchise, we are extremely pleased to provide an original, high-quality and rich storytelling experience that makes fans and newcomers equally to an exciting ride.

Driver is one of the first open-world racing games and is likely to be a true video game classic for many with the exciting story around the former racing driver John Tanner, who attracts as an agent against a gang of criminals.
