Old Animal Crossing feature arrives new horizons

During the recent Pax East gameplay demo, some players have discovered that a functionality of the original GameCube title had been implemented in New Horizons. Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows players a better camera control than any other animal Crossing title, including the possibility of playing the game in a downward perspective. The camera will default the most inclined perspective, but the possibility of going to the Old School style is a feature that the long-time fans of the franchise will appreciate. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch when leaving March 20th.

The most AMAZING PERSPECTIVES Island Tour! - Animal Crossing New Horizons

The original animal crossing version: Growing population presented a system of acres instead of the hilly landscape of today's animal crosse titles, the descending perspective completing the style of the grid. Although it took some time to developers to implement the descending perspective with the hilly landscape, we look forward to the classic sensation and the possibility of switching between the two perspectives on the fly. We have recently confirmed other new features of the Pax East demo, including deep decoration and the brand new craft system.

Complimenting the new Pax East demo was a stand similar to something you would see in a children's TV show, with great accessories inspired by the game and a set that imitated the landscape of the game. Pax East participants also received Free gifts, including an Isabelle pin and a fashionable tote bag. With the descending perspective of the old school that returns to Animal Crossing in New Horizons, we look forward to seeing what our islands look like under both angles.

Are you a fan of the original animal crossing title on GameCube or are you a more recent fan? Are you going to try the descending perspective or you stick to the angular aspect? Let us know in the comments below!
